Paid Items License Terms - Dev Marketplace

Welcome to the Dev Marketplace Paid Items License Terms page. By purchasing and using any paid item from our marketplace, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which outline your rights and limitations as a license holder.

1. License Scope and Grant

Single-Use License
Each paid item purchase grants you a single-use license, allowing you to use the item in one project or installation. If you wish to use the item in multiple projects, you must purchase a separate license for each.

Personal and Commercial Use
You may use paid items for both personal and commercial projects. However, resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of the item itself in any form is strictly prohibited.

2. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

• All items sold on Dev Marketplace remain the intellectual property of their respective authors. Your purchase grants you a license to use the item but does not transfer ownership of the item or its intellectual property.
• You are prohibited from claiming ownership, authorship, or exclusive rights over any paid item, even after modification or customization.

3. Permitted and Restricted Use

Permitted Use
You are permitted to modify or adapt paid items to fit your project needs, as long as these adaptations are used exclusively within the scope of the license. Any derivative works remain subject to these terms.

Prohibited Use

• Reselling, sharing, or redistributing the paid item in its original form or as part of a collection, template, or bundle is prohibited.
• Offering the paid item as a separate download in any format or on any platform, including within apps, websites, or any other distribution channels, is forbidden.

4. Support and Updates

Support
Paid items include a limited support period from the date of purchase. During this period, you may reach out for assistance with installation, minor errors, or compatibility issues as they pertain to the intended functionality of the item.

Updates
Paid items may receive updates to address bugs, security concerns, or compatibility issues. You are entitled to any updates released within the defined support period. Updates beyond this period may require additional fees or renewal of support.

5. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

No Warranty
While Dev Marketplace ensures that each paid item is carefully reviewed and tested, items are provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability
Dev Marketplace shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the paid item. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

6. Termination and Breach of Terms

• Dev Marketplace reserves the right to terminate your license and revoke access to any paid item if you breach any of these terms. Unauthorized use, distribution, or modification of items constitutes a violation and may result in legal action.

7. License Transfer

• The license granted to you is non-transferable. You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense your rights to any third party.

8. Governing Law

• These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of Dev Marketplace’s primary operations. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be exclusively resolved in the competent courts within this jurisdiction.
